Gen 8

In Gen 8 Noah is on a rock, God puts him there. but yet he doesnt bust on out. He sends out a dove to see if there is dry land. When there isnt he waits 7 more days, then 7 more days. What this teaches me is that we need patince. God will take care of us but good comes to those who wait. Who ask God, trust him and seek him. Noah waited until the world was ready for him. he could have gone out but would have had to deal with alll the water and the muddyness. Noah could have, but if you wait till its time, its definitely easier.

Noah waited until God called him out of the ark. Verse 15. Then God said to Noah, "Come out of the ark, you and your wife and your sons and their wives.... So Noah came out, together with his sons and his wife and his sons' wives." Noah waited for God

Next, Noah built an altar and praised God for his faithfulness. God was pleased by the aroma of burnt offereings. God must be oh so very pleased when we give him our heart and ourselves as burnt offerings.

God put a rainbow in the sky, not just so we could remember his faithfulness but as a reminder for God, as well. interesting. raindbows are really cool.
